Technology was supposed to improve our lives and foster connection, yet many experience the opposite: exhaustion, isolation, and surveillance anxiety. Daily interruptions from work tools erode focus. News alerts deliver troubling headlines. Personal relationships increasingly happen through screens or agenda-driven meetings. Ownership gives way to subscriptions. Privacy feels impossible to find.

Their vision centers on tools enabling neighborhood connection, privacy protection, and psychological breathing room.

Systemic transformation takes time, but accumulated small acts of resistance create momentum. Contributing—whether through building personal websites, establishing community tech initiatives, developing corporate alternatives, or providing financial support—matters. Individual efforts compound into transformative movements.

The invitation stands to participate in constructing a different internet and community ecosystem: one built on principles of collective care rather than billionaire control.
